Our Story
Mr. Achintha De Silva graduated in the UK in Computer hardware technology. However, he his background of expertise is transportation and logistics. At a young age he learnt to drive long distances with his father. He gained experience, skills and aptitude to coordinate and manage transport logistics at a very young age which is why he decided to pursue a career in transport logistics. His career in white-glove services began in 2008 where he did his first consignment. The customer was very impressed and recommended him to other business customers. He then started provided deliveries to many restaurants in central London who needed white-glove services.
Mr. Achintha De Silva then started offering courier services to businesses and individuals which complimented his existing work. He started working closely with Amazon, Herms, Ebay, Royal Mail, DPD and DHL. Having gained experience in transport logistics, in 2011 he then started working for a reputable company as a ‘Logistic & Transport Manager’. He was responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organisation. And managing 45 drivers and 80 warehouse staff. He played a key role in fulfilling and meeting customers promises and expectations.
In 2013 Mr. Achintha De Silva decided to start his own business in a transport logistics and couriers services. He was trading as ‘DS Last Trading Ltd’. In 2017, he then registered with ‘Courier Exchange’ a trusted company helping over 7,000 businesses in the transport industry.
The company’s services expanded over the years. Mr. Achintha De Silva started in couriers, collecting and delivering small to large packages and pallets. Now he is part of a large transport network where he is able to provide freight and haulage services, transporting large and heavy goods.
In 2020, he decided to set up a limited company called Lush Trade & Transport Ltd. Since then, the company has grown from strength to strength and has received 5 star rating from its logistic customers.
